We find them at the end of movies; long and exhausting.
We find them just before the prologue, or after the epilogue of books.
It’s not that surprising we hardly take the time go through them
Names and names and names
Ignored just like the “terms and conditions” before a software installation process
Afterall, these people hardly mean shit to us.
But when we’re the ones releasing these books or movies or articles or speeches or publications,
And we get rave reviews and praises
It behooves on us to properly acknowledge those behind the scenes,
Those who painstakingly made us look good in the eyes of the world.
For one, it shows that we are human and rely on people for assistance; this makes our ‘audience’ identify more easily with humans like them.
On the other hand, it gives out a word for the editor or publisher or trainer or whomever.
In the end, it reflects well on both parties.
