Ever wondered how tiny moments change the course of our lives?

The moment you met “THE ONE”, That life changing interview you heard about and attended that got you your present money-spinning job

What if?…

What if you were a couple of seconds late and couldn’t meet that person you boastfully claim to be THE ONE?

What then?

The truth is you’d probably proceed with life without really knowing any better. “THE ONE” will take the shape of another fellow, your working sojourn will take a different course altogether.

Opportunities missed in a blink. Tiny moments! Just a fraction of a second!

There’s the course you nearly didn’t take in school that has gotten you to your present level of proficiency today

There’s the training you did probably just to pass the time that has taken you to heights before unimagined.

We miss a ton of opportunities during a lifetime and the truth is we are totally oblivious to the fact that we miss these opportunities.

It isn’t sad that we miss the opportunities we know nothing about. What is sad is the fact that there are opportunities we recognize and yet let slip.

I know you’ve heard times without number how the only person you should be competing with is yourself.

Yet, I stress it again mainly because most times, while engaging in inappropriate comparism, we miss the opportunities that are specific to us.

The truth of the matter is that there’ll always be times when you feel intimidated by the achievements and feats of people you think should be at least at the same level as you.

Times when undoubtedly, you’ll feel like ditching your dwarf-like dreams for the aspirations of another.

Opportunities that suit your strengths and abilities will always come as long as you’re willing to open your eyes and as long as you’re mighty sensitive as each moment and event passes you by.

Don’t make the mistake of living a life that belongs to another

Always do your best. No more, no less.

Carpe Diem!
